THQ Nordicから、プレイステーション4版とXbox One版が2021年5月25日に、Steam版が5月26日に発売予定の『バイオミュータント』。発売まで間近となった同作だが、海外の『バイオミュータント』の公式Twitterでは、この週末にかけてキャラクター動画が一挙に公開されている。
『バイオミュータント』はキャラメイクが充実しており、ゲームを始めるとまずは6つの種族のうちからひとつを選択。その後、遺伝子構造を操作する“ミューテーション”によって、外見とパラメータを決定することになる。

今回公開された動画は、そんなバラエティーに富んだキャラクターの、ほんの一端を紹介するもの。Twitterの文言からは、「『バイオミュータント』では、同じ顔の主人公はふたりといません」とのコメントも確認できる。
種族は、“プライマル”、“ダムドン”、“レックス”、“ハイラ”、“フィップ”、“マーゲル”の6種族で、“ミューテーション”の様子も以下の動画で確認できる。ときにユニークな姿形にミューテーションするさまは、見ているだけで楽しい。
