　スクウェア・エニックスは、発売時期を2011年10月に変更していた『Deus Ex（デウスエクス）』（対応機種： プレイステーション3、Xbox 360）の発売日を2011年10月20日（木）に決定したことを明らかにした。

　本作品は、日本国内では2011年9月8日（木）の発売が予定されていたが、日本の審査機関で禁止表現にあたる視覚的描写が1箇所残っていることが判明したため、発売時期が2011年10月に変更されていた。
