2021年10月28日（木）、プレイステーションの最新情報を伝える動画番組“State of Play”が配信。その中で、プレイステーション4（PS4）、プレイステーション5（PS5）用ソフト『Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach』の発売日が12月16日に決定したことを発表。

　『Five Nights at Freddy's』シリーズは、夜間警備員となり、監視カメラやライトを駆使して不気味な人形の襲来から生き延びるというホラーゲーム。本作では、これまでより大きな“メガ・ピザプレックス”施設を一人称視点で探索することに。発売日の発表にあわせて公開された映像では、ゲームプレイの様子も確認できる。
