あわせて、Steam版の国内配信も決定し、こちらは10月11日に配信される。2023年12月時点では、Steam版の国内配信は予定していないとアナウンスされていたが、この度あらためて配信決定となったようだ。

『ドラゴンボール Sparking! ZERO』は、かめはめ波や舞空術など、ドラゴンボールならではの技を駆使しながら闘う3D対戦アクションゲーム。キャラクターの持つ個性豊かな能力や特徴を活かし、超サイヤ人への変身や、極限まで気を溜めて放つ強力な必殺技での一発逆転など、ドラゴンボールらしいドラマチックな闘いを思いのままに楽しめる。
公開された英文リリースによると“エピソードバトル”と“カスタムバトル”の情報も明らかになった。“エピソードバトル”ではプレイヤーは8人のキャラクターから1人を選び、ドラゴンボールサーガの重要な戦いを追体験できる。トレーラーのラディッツ戦前と思われるシーンでは、悟空の一人称視点で“ひとりで行く”か“ピッコロと行くか”といった選択肢が表示されていた。プレイヤーの選択によっては、漫画とは違った展開が楽しめるのかもしれない。

ZERO, the first entry to the DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series in 15 years, is releasing worldwide on October 11, 2024. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is available now for digital and physical pre-orders on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam® in Standard, Deluxe, Premium Collector Edition, and Digital Ultimate Edition. The new trailer featured on the Summer Game Fest livestream teased at a newly-revealed game mode, Episode Battle, showcasing a visually-stunning and authentic continuation of the BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series. Episode Battle will let players pick one of eight characters and relive key battles in the Dragon Ball saga. The new trailer also reveals new additions to the playable character list, including Goku (Super), Ultra Instinct, Gohan (Adult), Super Saiyan 2, Golden Frieza, Bardock, Raditz, Goku Black, Zamasu, as well as Jiren, Full Power.
Also revealed for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, Custom Battle introduces a new element to experiencing Dragon Ball as a game, where players can try their hands at a match imagined by the developers or create their own battle scenarios and share them with the world.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is available in Standard Edition as well as premium versions, detailed below:
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the Standard Edition, 3 days of early access to the game, as well as the Season Pass, which contains more than 20 characters including characters from DRAGON BALL SUPER: SUPER HERO and DRAGON BALL DAIMA as well as the Shenron Summon that can unlock items. Early access to DLC characters is also included.
The Digital Ultimate Edition contains the Deluxe Edition content as well as the Ultimate Upgrade Pack which includes, the Goku (Super) Costume with Power Pole, an Emote Voice Set, 1 Customization item and 2 player card backgrounds. This edition also includes the possibility to summon Super Shenron to unlock items or characters.
The Collector Edition includes the content from the Digital UItimate Edition along with an exclusive DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO diorama and a Metallic Bookmark.
The Premium Collector Edition, available exclusively on the Bandai Namco Store includes all Collector Edition content as well as a SteelBook and 4 exclusive cards from the DRAGON BALL SUPER CARD GAME Fusion World
All pre-orders will unlock early access to the following characters available in-game Gogeta, Gogeta, Super Saiyan, Gogeta Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, Broly, Broly, Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Broly, Full Power. Also included is a playable character to be revealed later.
