『ウイイレ8』が発売と同時にミリオン達成！

●国内150万本達成も目前に

　本日(8月6日)、コナミは8月5日に発売したプレイステーション2用ソフト、『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン8』が、発売と同時に出荷本数100万本を突破したことを発表!!　昨年発売された『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン7』は、発売から3週間でのミリオンセールス達成だったが、本作はそれを上回るスピード記録となった。これにより、同シリーズは3期連続でのミリオン達成となったぞ。

　なお、コナミは本作について7月27日に、｢シリーズ初となる国内累計出荷本数150万本に挑戦します｣と宣言しているが、この目標の達成も目前に近づいた。

▲『ウイイレ』シリーズは'98年から6年連続でサッカーゲームでナンバーワンの売り上げを記録している。
